With the primary aim of crafting innovative music listening experiences, this collaboration with Bang & Olufsen offered the ideal platform to experiment and bring to life a creation embodying the brand's core values.
The course aimed to produce a functional prototype with a primary focus on functionality rather than aesthetics. Subsequently, the concept was formulated to effectively showcase the interaction between the user and the product in action."
BeoSound Orbit was exhibited at Dubai Design Week 2016 as a part of the Global Grad Show.

Interaction

A button on the top of the player starts or stops the music. Information about the song is projected on the table around the device. The player recognises touch gestures on any surface around it through infrared, while coordinated light animations provide feedback.
MoodWheel

Bang & Olufsen introduced the MoodWheel in BeoSound Moment. Allowing you to play music by selecting a colour corresponding to your mood.
BeoSound Orbit implements the MoodWheel with a twist:
-Drag outwards from the centre with two fingers to bring it up.
-Spin the wheel by swiping and tap to choose a colour:
a playlist based on that mood will begin.
